It is a transistorized radio but is about the same width as the NCX-3 that I have it sitting on. THIS IS A LAFAYETTE KT-320 GENERAL COVERAGE RECEIVER FROM THE EARLY 60'S. The receiver was also made as an HE-30, but the KT-320 was a kit that the buyer had to assemble. This is a really nice radio that was built from a kit. It looks like the person who built it did an excellent job. The radio plays and sounds great on all bands. The radio was made from 1963 to 1972 and this one looks like it is brand new! It is a 5 band radio with bandspread control on all bands. Band 1 covers 200 to 400 KC. Band 2 covers 550 to 1800KC. Band 3 covers 1.8 to 4.8 MC, Band 4 covers 4.8 to 12 MC and Band 5 covers 12 to 30 MC.This is a really nice radio that was built from a kit.
